Landmarked single family brownstone renovation into a two family building. Renovation features a rehabilitaion of turn of the century millwork, tiffany stained glass windows, and the integration of an open plan kitchen and living spaces. Infrastructure upgrades of state of the art mechanical systems set in a contemporary layout. Middle eastern and European textiles and ceramic influences in a professional home kitchen connecting to the exterior garden.

Chicha Cafetin + Cocktails
A Nicaraguan cafetin and cocktail bar in a converted warehouse space in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
The bar reflects the stark dissonance of the white cathedral set in Leon, we chose to bring the alter like quality to the vertical white shelving space behind the cocktail stations. Illuminated brass arched liquor wells set up the base of the bar and from the patrons point of view we added some playful organ keys into the bar top.
Wood slat walls behind our custom designed furniture take the shape of the iconic mountain-scape on the national flag. We designed the furniture and bar to be built in Nicaragua by the team Maderas who perfectly executed the design. This was a very fun design project.

30 Hotel Rooms, Restaurant, and Spa
Boutique hotel in Greenpoint to be designed for 30 hotel rooms, a restaurant, bar lounge spaces, cellar spa, hotel lobby and marketplace. Local tradespeople to hand craft all natural wood detailed interior and subdued new construction set in an existing brick building. New facade work, exterior seating, custom lighting, and contemporary furniture will transform the two-century old structure into a sophisticated and simple hotel concept.
A custom conversion of a quonset hut into an art gallery and residence in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The client merged their art gallery at the ground floor and a custom built open loft apartment above the gallery. The rear deck was designed with plants and new decking and the original structure remained in tact. New skylights were added to give the space more light, while new bathroom fittings, finishes, and custom kitchen were added to the main living space. New flooring and basic interior finishes kept the space open and simple.
Alkemy Brew Lab is a coffee and chai cafe in Brooklyn, NY.
Fort Greene restaurant designed and constructed in 2012. A custom marble and steel designed raw bar in conjunction with space exploration. Custom lighting and furniture transformed the small space into a sunlight corner gem on Fort Green Park.
